Davyd Arakhamiia, head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, confirmed that the Ukrainian delegation and residents from Oleshky have departed for Anapa. The group left Ukraine to begin the transfer process.

According to Arakhamiia, the evacuees will fly from Anapa to Belarus. They will then complete their journey to Ukraine by bus. This specific route was established by an agreement between the Russian and Ukrainian sides.

Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine's Human Rights Commissioner, explained the necessity of this path. The evacuation must pass through Russia and Belarus before entering Ukrainian territory.

Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi initially stated that 527 residents of Oleshky in Kherson Oblast would return. He later apologized for the figure and noted that the count is still changing. Official numbers will be released only after the evacuation concludes.

The ceasefire in the Oleshky area began at 03:00 Kyiv time on October 27. Russia's Defence Ministry confirmed the introduction of the truce. The White House announced on October 23 that Melania Trump secured the agreement. The ceasefire is set to remain in effect until 22:59 on November 1.
