Lakeshore Election: Tracey Bailey Claims Victory with 8,399 Votes
Bailey secured a decisive win over challengers Argo Pace and Sam Sinjari, citing a $100 million investment record during her previous term.

Tracey Bailey retained the mayor’s office in Lakeshore following unofficial results released on Monday.
The race concluded with Bailey receiving 8,399 votes. Challenger Argo Pace tallied 1,782 votes, while Sam Sinjari received 1,399 votes.
Bailey ran for re-election after serving a combined 12 years in local government. She held positions as a councillor, deputy mayor, and mayor prior to this election.
During her campaign, Bailey emphasized her track record of attracting capital to the municipality. She stated that her administration pulled in approximately $100 million over the last four years.
“Under my leadership we’ve seen tremendous investment in Lakeshore,” Bailey said. “We’ve pulled in around $100 million over the last four years, which is really significant.”
Bailey indicated that her team is prepared to begin work immediately. She noted that the administration will hit the ground running on day one.
She described the result as a clear mandate from residents. Bailey said she feels thrilled that voters supported her direction for the community.
Her platform for the coming term includes three main priorities. She promised to focus on infrastructure investment, protect affordability, and build complete communities as the population grows.
