The WVIZ Sunday Puzzle features a set of clues where each answer is a two-word name of a place in the United States.

The puzzle presents twelve specific categories for participants to identify. These include a northeast haven, a pioneers' pinnacle, a storied fire, and molten lava. Additional prompts describe an oil capital, a destination for many vacationers, and a newlyweds' favorite.

Other clues in the set refer to a very dry location, a hydroelectric development, a port in Honolulu, an engineered channel, and a health spa. A final three-word answer describes a sizable population in Minnesota. The initial letters of each clue correspond to the initial letters of the correct answer.

In a previous week's challenge, the format focused on commercial branding. Listeners identified two well-known companies whose logos start with a lowercase letter and contain a capital B inside. The correct answers were eBay and jetBlue.

Deborah Freedman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, won the most recent on-air puzzle segment. The current challenge asks participants to find a three-letter part of the human body. This segment must be inserted into a four-letter part of the body to create a brand name found in supermarkets.

Listeners who believe they know the answer should submit their response by 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 5. Submissions must include a phone number where the station can reach the participant. Selected answers will receive an opportunity to play the puzzle on air.
