Kanye West set a new attendance record for a solo hip-hop concert on Sunday in Houston. NRG Stadium reported 80,210 attendees for the performance. This total exceeds the 74,000 tickets sold at SoFi Stadium in April.

The milestone marks a high point for the genre, although it does not top the all-time list. Zach Bryan drew 112,408 people to Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor in 2025. West's Houston show remains the largest crowd for a rap artist to date.

The setlist focused on West's catalog. The crowd heard "Can't Tell Me Nothing," "Runaway," and "Touch The Sky." Special guests joined the stage to support the performance. Playboi Carti, North West, and André Troutman appeared during the show.

High-profile figures watched from the stands. Drake and Travis Scott were both present at the venue. Their attendance drew attention given their past professional history with West.

West continues his current tour schedule after the Houston date. He is set to perform in Dallas on November 7. His next scheduled stop is Phoenix on November 21.
